Websense Hosted Web Security is a Web security service that will protect your I.T. network from computer viruses and other Web-based threats such as spyware and malware. All Internet traffic will be directed to an external server where these threats are filtered out and Internet policies are implemented. This solution contains a database of over 90 customizable web categories allowing you to manage acceptable usage policies and block access to sites associated with spyware, phishing, key logging, and other threats.

Often links to these sites are returned by search engines and you do not realise what you are accessing until you have clicked a link and it is too late.
